Dog’s Eye View, “Umbrella”

It has been far too long since I heard this song, but the lyrics popped into my head this afternoon and I knew I had to dig it out and listen to it. So, I thought, why not share the wealth?

If you’re familiar with this song, it’s probably because you own the Can’t Hardly Wait soundtrack (the song’s intro can be heard in the movie). Or, you could own Daisy, which came out in 1997 and is the second studio release from these guys. 

This is such a great song. It sums up unrequited love and has a hopeful ending.
