Neon Trees, “Animal”

Welcome to the future. These kids, who just signed to Mercury Records in early 2009, are going to blow up this year. This infectious tune is fun for the club or the car. The lyrics are pretty good, too. What I like about this band is that they’re a pop group that is flourishing behind a man (Tyler Glenn) who has good pipes. I can’t wait for their full-length album to hit the streets in March.
