Tapes ‘n Tapes, “Freak Out”

Even though this Minnesota band has been around for eight years, they have only released three albums. This track comes off Outside, which was released in January. I particularly like this song because it’s upbeat and has a country feel to it. 

Due to positive praise on numerous music blogs, the band found themselves with air time across the nation in the beginning of their years together. But, they soon fell off track when their second album, Walk It Off, didn’t fare so well with critics and fans. Now, they are back to their Indie roots and the sound originally heard on The Loon.
