In five days, I’ll be in a stadium packed with music lovers, watching Metric, Vampire Weekend, 30 Seconds to Mars, AFI and Muse bring the house down at Live 105’s Not So Silent Night (NSSN).

A sold out show in record time, NSSN is a highly anticipated musical event for the year, kind of like 2009’s last hurrah before setting into the sunset.

I thought I would take this time to introduce some of you to 30 Seconds to Mars’ new video for its new single off This is War, “Kings and Queens.” Fronted by Jared Leto, this band has had its share of record company battles. After a few years of legal issues, the band finally prevailed, and the newly released album gives us this gem of a song. But, even better than the song is this beautifully constructed music video. It reminds me of a mini movie.
