This Century, “Dream of Christmas” (acoustic)

It’s Dec. 1, which means that it is officially Christmas season for me. What better way to kick off the holidays than with a band I just happen to adore? There isn’t a better way, in case you were wondering.

What I love about these boys from Arizona is that they are incredibly hard workers, and go above and beyond to reach out to their fans. Their sound is refreshing, and they sound just as good live as they do in the studio. Recently, they were on tour with Hey Monday! and Cartel, but had to drop off during the last week due to illness. But, fear not, my friends, because they will soon release an album and a music video (dates are unknown, but look for it sometime early next year).

This video is an acoustic version, so you only get to see half of the band. I wanted to show you this version, though, because I think the vocals are beautiful. When I describe singer Joel Kanitz’s voice to strangers, I alternate between “buttery” and “angelic.” If you like what you hear, you can always check out their other stuff here.
