Number One Fan, “Nothing Will Change”
This song comes off an album, Compromises, that I frequently come back to since it is one of my favorites. Sadly, Number One Fan only last five years and completed one album (however, there is an unreleased album that can be downloaded for free on the Internet if you look hard enough). I caught them on the tail end of their existence when they opened for the All-American Rejects. Sometimes, all it takes is a really great live show to pick up a fan, and that was it for me. I’ve been hooked ever since.
So, that brings me to Thanksgiving. I could be bummed that I only have two albums (yes, I have the unreleased one) from Number One Fan, but I choose to be thankful that I at least have these. These songs are already attached to memories, and will forever be a part of my life. There are many bands and songs that play a huge part in my life. What I’m trying to say is, I’m thankful for music and that way it comforts and encourages me. And, most importantly, I’m thankful for the bands that hit the road nine months out of the year to bring these tunes to the ears of fans.
