The Academy Is…, “After The Last Midtown Show”

A few hours ago, lead singer William Beckett notified his fans via blog that TAI will no longer be a band. After eight years, the rest of the band (two members left earlier this year) will call it quits and move on to different ventures. Because of this, they will no longer tour with Jack’s Mannequin this fall. 

I will never forget the first time I heard this song. I thought Beckett’s voice couldn’t be more perfect than it is on this track. Man, I’m going to miss this band.
