Someone Still Loves you Boris Yeltsin, “I Am Warm & Powerful”

This song is several years old, but I have been playing it a lot lately. It has all of the aspects that I love about indie pop: Emotionally raw vocals, easygoing rhythm with a few tempo changes, and backup vocals that are as dreamy as a sigh. 

The band will release their new record, entitled Tape Club — consisting of B-sides and unreleased recordings since the band’s existence — on Oct. 18. In the meantime, head here to hear all 26 tracks.
